Finale
Our Apologies for the fact that we had failed to live up to
the undertaking we made to our family and friends about taking them with us by
posting about what we did every day. We
did try, and we managed fairly well for about a week or so, but, courtesy of a blackout of internet access in our hotel in Berlin, fell so far
behind as to make the job impracticable after that. We can but offer the good excuse that we spent
such time and energy accumulating the experience that we had none left over to
write and publish it.
Nevertheless, as at July 2021 we are
completing the task – and are determined to finish it this month - perhaps more from pig-headedness than any constructive
purpose. In the next few days, we hope
that all the blank days below will be filled out with the interesting part of
what we did. It may even be interesting
to people other than ourselves!!
